"Lets keep an eye on next week-because of the milder (unfavorable for snow/cold) pattern we are stuck in, the computer forecast models have been a bit shaky at times when it comes to forecasting incoming arctic air, but next week some models are indicating a storm Jan 2-3 moving across Maryland, which at least would give the areas west of the I-95 corridor their first really good snows...Just a little add on to this post-model guidance is starting to come out for that next week event-looks like maybe just maybe it could bring snow to a greater portion of MD-maybe also BWI-DCA, east of I-95, southern MD and the Eastern Shore. And it looks to be a Jan 3-4th event instead. Keeping an eye on this one for sure."
Slow start to winter, but New Year may bring new opportunities
