Through the next 24 hours with a look ahead

On current storm | 7:22 Dec 16 | Mark Gonzalez and Josh Owens

Still looking like nothing much of a snow fall from tonight's event. If there is a changeover it will be brief with no accumulation and would be mostly in southern Maryland, we have already seen and may contiue to see SLEET fall. Doubtful as to it will stick like the snow. But this nothing to get excited about. At this point there aren't even any warnings or advisories.
But...after Christmas Day wow...heading into the last week of December...much colder probably and must I say some models are indicating.. Yes... an east coast storm and it could be cold enough to give a portion of the state our first real snow...we will have a better handle on this by later next week...so stay tuned!
