Currently there are nine severe watches in effect across the Midwest and that number will change as the night continues. This is all due to a severe weather outbreak occurring across this area. The threat for tornadoes is high but it looks like more of a wind and hail event. There is a cluster of storms moving across southwest Virginia and Weast Virgina that may give us some rain and a rumble of thunder later on tonight.
