How about that! We have some wet snow falling right now here in Charles and St Mary's County. There are also reports of snow in the Washington DC area, Prince Georges and Calvert Counties as well. Easton and parts of the central Eastern Shore are also reporting snow. The rain-snow line looks to be located somewhere in extreme southern St Mary's County-below Lexington Park. Will it stick much? Probably not... looks like we'll just be left with some wet roads and some sticking on grassy surfaces since the temperatures are above freezing and the intensity of snow is not heavy enough to allow for evaporative cooling. Its still nice to look at though. If anything changes we will be sure to let you know ASAP. We will also have to watch if the roads will freeze overnight after the snow stops since we will be dipping to at or below freezing in areas that snow has fallen. (Mr G)
