Down, but Not Out

WINTER IS NOT DEAD YET | Feb 1, 2012 | Mr G

It looks like winter is trying to rally for a 4th quarter comeback for Maryland-some good signs that we will finally finally finally see winter heading our way-Europe is very cold right now-teens and single digits for highs across Germany where my brother Mike lives, northern Japan has had some big snows over the last few weeks, there is a nice deep snow cover over Canada right now which can be a great help to fuel cold air and combine w/ gulf moisture heading our way to produce storms. Please keep an eye on this weekend especially Sunday-models keep flipping back and forth on whether we get snow mix or just plain rain depending on your location-even though the computer generated forecasts from many weather sources for Sunday are saying 40s and 50s for highs and rain-I would still keep an eye on that possibly changing-dont panic, but just be mindful of a possible storm. More to come today on the "4th quarter rally" for winter on Facebook.
